Automotive Transmission Case Overview

Power windows are an extremely common configuration on modern vehicles. The core component of automotive windows is the window regulator, also known as the window lift mechanism. The internal principle involves a small DC micro motor configured on the side of each window glass, controlled by switches on the door panel or center console to start and stop the motor.

Each motor shaft is connected to a reduction worm gear. Through the meshing of the gear and worm, angular conversion and fixed-speed forward/reverse motion are achieved. The gear connects to the glass linkage rod, enabling the glass to move up and down. Some designs use steel cable connections to achieve the reciprocating motion of the glass. Different vehicle models use different connection methods.

The automotive power window worm gears and connecting gears developed by UNITECH-GEAR feature compact structure, precise transmission, and weather-resistant wear characteristics. They are suitable for various motors and connection methods to achieve glass opening and closing.
